Aimee Conway   Math Resource Teacher

Mathematics Program

In the 21st century, students must have a deep understanding of math and be able to apply that understanding in multiple ways. We want students who not only can pass tests, but appreciate the power of math and its usefulness in the real world.

The Mathematics department Rosa Parks Middle School is committed to providing our students a student centered, differentiated learning environment. Students will use critical thinking and data analysis to identify, apply and talk about mathematical patterns and procedures. Through this process, students will gain problem solving strategies which will be useful throughout their lives.

The following courses offered will prepare students for future math courses they will be required to take in high school.
