Classic Literature Club
Classic Literature Club explores a variety of literary movements in chronological order, reading and discussing books from each one and learning about the historical context surrounding each one.

Model UN
Model United Nations (Model UN or MUN) is a simulation of the United Nations where students take on the roles of delegates representing different countries. They research global issues, write position papers, debate, and work together to draft resolutions—just like real UN diplomats. It helps students build skills in public speaking, collaboration, critical thinking, and global awareness.

B-CC Debate Team
The Debate Team is a group where students learn to research, construct arguments, and engage in structured debates on a variety of topics. Team members compete against other schools, developing skills in public speaking, critical thinking, and persuasive communication. It's a great opportunity to build confidence and explore current events and ethical issues from multiple perspectives.

Math Team
In Math Team, we tinker with math ideas outside of the curriculum like graph theory, symbolic logic, linear algebra, and other things outside the curriculum. We watch neat TED talks, or Numberfile, or 3 Blue, 1 Brown, etc. We also compete in county math meets that meet every other week on Wednesdays after school. Meets run October to February. Not everyone needs to attend meets.

Science Quiz Bowl
All science trivia, all the time! Come practice with us and get ready for the biggest competition of the year: the Maryland Science Bowl in January. We need science minded people in all subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Astronomy, Earth Science, Physics, and Math!

B-CC Mock Trial
Students will compete against teams from other high schools in Montgomery County to see who can most effectively and authentically argue the facts of a “true-to-life” court case. This activity requires a tryout which will be held during the month of October.
