After 15 years lost in storage, the Killam Collection of Prehistoric Native American Artifacts is back on display at Masconomet High School! The collection was on display from the early 1960’s to the 1990’s, again after the school was rebuilt in 2001, and it has made a triumphant return in June of 2025.
In collaboration with Social Studies teachers, AP US History students researched, curated and created a permanent display of these artifacts, as well as the history of the Killam family and of their donation of these objects.
We look forward to collaborating with the Masconomet Educational Foundation to create permanent signage and displays to supplement the excellent work the students have started. Please explore the exhibit next time you visit the high school main office.
