Mr. Boepple is an 8th grade social studies teacher at Masconomet Regional Middle School where he has taught since 2009. He also coaches hockey and golf and serves as the advisor for the National Junior Honor Society. He holds Massachusetts licensure in Social Studies 7-12, Health and Family Consumer Sciences, and Principal/Assistant Principal.
Mr. Boepple currently serves as the Civics teacher on 8 Red and also coordinates the local Civics field trips for students who do not attend the 8th grade Washington D.C. trip.
Mr. Tzortzis is an 8th grade social studies teacher at Masconomet Regional Middle School. He has worked at Masconomet since the 2005-2006 school year, first as a paraprofessional and then as a classroom teacher. He is the co-advisor of the Middle School Student Council and the Morning Announcements club.
Mr. Tzortzis is currently the civics teacher on 8 Blue after previously being the history/civics teacher on 8 White for many years.
He is licensed in Massachusetts to teach History 5-8, History 5-12 and Special Education Moderate Disabilities 5-12.
Mrs. Calzini has been an 8th-grade social studies teacher at Masconomet Middle School since 2000.
She is a member of Phi Alpha Theta and is currently working on a C.A.G.S. in Education from the University of New England.
She is currently teaching civics on 8 White. Previously, Mrs. Calzini taught civics and world history on 8 Red and started in the Middle School on 8 Blue teaching US History I after spending a year at Masconomet High School teaching World History during the 1999-2000 school year.
Mrs. Calzini coordinates the annual 8th grade field trip to Washington, DC.
