Ms. Hughes is the Social Studies Department Head at Masconomet Regional School, where she has served since 2022. Ms. Hughes has dedicated over twenty years to educating students in the western suburbs of Boston and the North Shore.
She is currently teaching two classes at Masconomet Regional High School: AP Politics and Government and CP U.S. History and the World and she has taught the entire breadth of Social Studies classes grades 9-12. She advises Bridge USA, a student group that fosters civil discourse around contemporary issues.
Ms. Hughes is a good resource for parents and students regarding scheduling issues and any other programmatic question that you may have, grades 7-12.
Mr. Ryan Quinn is a graduate of Masconomet Regional School and has been teaching here since 2004.
Mr. Quinn is currently teaching Honors U.S.History and the World as well as World Religions. He is also the Alpine Ski Coach for Masco and was named All-Scholastic Coach of the Year for skiing 23-24.
Mr. David Mitchell has been teaching at Masco since 1995.
Mr. Mitchell is currently teaching AP U.S. History and Honors U.S. History and the World and Sociology. He also co-teaches American Studies: Stories of Protest and Progress with Ms. Stanley of the English Department. He will be teaching AP African American Studies in the school year 25-26.
Mr. Mitchell is now coaching track at Masco and has previously coached boys soccer here as well.
Mr. Jim Maciak came to teaching after a career in the military and private industry. He has been at Masco since 2008.
Mr. Maciak is currently teaching CP U.S. History and the World and World War II Stories, a popular elective that he developed.
Aside from teaching, he also advices the Global Cultures Club here at Masco.
