Mr. Patrick Mahoney has been teaching 7th grade social studies at the Masconomet Regional Middle School since the Fall of 2003 and graduated from Masco in 1998. He currently teaches Global Cultures but he has also taught Ancient Cultures, Spanish, and German during his 22-year teaching career.
Mr. Mahoney believes in a classroom where engagement is the top priority. If students are engaged in their learning then meaningful skills can be taught in a manner which the student enjoys.
When he is not in the classroom you can find him on the track as the head coach of the high school boys cross country team (since 2007) and an outdoor track assistant coach (since 2006).
He is also the father of two children, Ally and Michael.

Mr. Tom Cobb is a naval veteran and thirty plus year middle school teacher at Masconomet MIddle School. He has taught in the middle school his entire career, teaching seventh grade World Geography, eighth grade World HIstory, seventh grade Ancient HIstory, and currently seventh grade Global Cultures.
He has organized the Excels after school program for the Middle School for over twenty years, giving students an opportunity to spend time with friends after school, doing various non-academic activities offered by the Middle School staff. He loves taking the eighth grade class on their annual trip to Washington D.C. every year.
Mr. Cobb has also spent his career coaching the boys varsity lacrosse program for over two decades as a head and later assistant coach and at the JV, Assistant Varsity, and Freshman levels of the girls volleyball program for over a decade here at Masconomet.

Ms. Alison Lecesse joined the Masconomet Middle School staff in 2012 after teaching at the Higgins Middle School in Peabody for six years. Before teaching in the US, she taught conversational English in Japan to students ranging from ages 3 to 82.
She is currently the Masco Varsity Girls Soccer Coach and has coached high school softball, high school lacrosse, college soccer, and college softball in the past. The Masco Girls Soccer Team won the Division 2 State Championship in 2024-2025.
Aside from soccer, Ms. Lecesse enjoys traveling, photography, and crafting. She also fosters rescue dogs and helps local dog rescue organizations.
