Dissertation in Practice Proposal
This assignment is a key milestone in completing the Dissertation in Practice (DiP) for the Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Organizational Innovation program. Students must draft the first three chapters by the end of year two; Introduction, Literature Review, and Methodology. This proposal, which forms the study’s foundation, requires approval from the Dissertation Chair/Lead Doctoral Faculty Mentor before data collection begins. Below are my three chapters, program forms, IRB approval letters, case study instruments, informed consent form, and proposal presentation with slide deck.

DiP Proposal Presentation Slide Deck
This Dissertation-in-Practice (DiP) proposal investigates how community-college faculty integrate multimedia into online teaching after participating in structured professional development. Grounded in the TPACK framework (Mishra & Koehler, 2006), the study examines the connection between technological skill-building and pedagogically sound instructional practice. Through qualitative methods, including interviews and live observations, the research explores how training influences faculty behavior, engagement, and course design in real-world settings. The findings aim to inform more effective, equity-minded faculty-development models that move beyond tool use toward meaningful, lasting innovation in teaching and learning across higher education.
