ED 801 was the most demanding course of the program, at least it was for me, involving data collection from the interviews and analysis of the findings for my qualitative cross-sectional explanatory study. I worked closely with my dissertation advisor, meeting regularly to ensure my research was well-designed and impactful. The course began with my DiP proposal presentation, covering the first three chapters of my study. Once it was approved by my advisor and LDFM, I began conducting faculty and staff interviews for my qualitative research to gather data. Afterward, I focused on data analysis, identifying overlapping themes, and writing Chapter 4 for my DiP. This course marked my transition into a researcher, applying theory to practice in alignment with my IRB plan.
