If your keypad has nothing on the display, or the buttons aren't preforming the actions as labelled there may be an issue with your keypad.
If it does not trip, check the keypad to see if it is functioning. If the problem still persists, proceed to Step 2.
If it does trip right away, your problem is likely something other than the keypad. Refer to our guide on GFCI Breaker Tripping to determine what the cause is.
Open the Spa Pack if required to locate the Keypad port. The inside of the cover will have a diagram which will tell you which port the Keypad is plugged into. Alternatively, you can follow the cord from the Keypad into the spa pack.
Once located, unplug and replug the keypad connection about 10 times. This will clean the connection and verify it is fully plugged in. Once securely reconnected, turn the GFCI breaker back to the 'ON' position. Check the keypad functionality.
If the problem still persists, proceed to Step 3.
Most commonly the keypad simply needs to be replaced. In some rare cases, both the Keypad and Spa Pack must be replaced. Contact us to have the keypad professionally replaced or for parts pricing and availability. See our guide on Replacing a Keypad if you wish to replace it yourself.
