How do I figure out what's wrong?
The first thing to check is the heater manifold. To do this, first ensure the GFCI Breaker is in the 'OFF' position. Then proceed to disconnect the 240v electrical connections on the heater manifold to the spa pack. (See various types below depending on your spa pack - see model number displayed on sticker on spa pack)

Once the heater is disconnected, turn the breaker to the 'ON' position.
If the breaker still trips, reconnect the heater manifold and proceed to Step 2.
If the breaker does not trip and all other features function normally, the heater is defective and must be replaced. Contact us with your spa pack model number for parts pricing and availability. See Replacing a Heater Tube for a step by step on how to replace the heater in your spa pack.
The second thing to check are the pumps. To do this, first ensure the GFCI Breaker is in the 'OFF' position. Then proceed to identify the where the pump(s) are plugged into the spa pack. (Refer to the diagram inside the lid of your spa pack for where PUMP 1 and CP* and PUMP 2** are plugged in)

One by one, unplug each pump and turn the breaker to the 'ON' position. If the breaker continues to trip, reconnect the pump and move to the next one.
If the breaker stops tripping once a pump is unplugged, that pump will need to be replaced. Follow the cord back to the pump to identify which it is. Contact us to have the pump professionally replaced or for parts pricing and availability. See our guide on Replacing a Pump if you wish to replace it yourself.
If all pumps are unplugged and the breaker is still tripping, contact an electrician as it is likely that there an issue with your GFCI breaker.
