The InTASC Standards are developed with the belief that teaching expertise can be learned and developed over time. Growth can occur through reflection on experience, feedback, and individual and group professional learning experiences.

Purposes:
The Puma Portfolio aims to demonstrate professional competence and personal growth as you progress through the Education Program at Paradise Valley Community College.
You will identify and reflect on assignments/experiences that demonstrate achievement, competence, and growth in relation to the InTasc and Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) standards. You will choose the coursework you completed from each class to upload to your Puma Portfolio and choose the activities and presentations that reflect your best work.
Each portfolio section will include
the assignment or experience artifact
an explanation/rationale of how each piece shows competence or growth in relation to the standard(s).
a written self-reflection on why you chose those artifacts
connections to authentic teaching experiences
At the conclusion of the Educator Preparation Program (EPP), your capstone project will include a showcase presentation of your portfolio that provides evidence of your cumulative knowledge. You will include a reflection on the experience, what was learned/gained, the impact of the experience, and the potential benefits to future learning and career.
