I believe children are freshly planted seeds full of unlimited potential. When they are given the proper knowledge, support, and love, they will blossom into the best version of themselves.
I believe my purpose is to work with children and light this spark in them -- a lifelong love for learning.
I want to build future leaders.
I believe that education is a lifelong journey, not only for students but also for teachers. Education is the gateway to independence, productivity, and a better community. Educators must seek meaningful connections with students to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Students will not remember everything they are taught, but they will always remember how a teacher made them feel. What students are taught should transcend the classroom, encompassing academic, practical, social, and emotional skills and knowledge.
My classroom will be an environment where failure is accepted as a normal part of the growing process.
My priorities for lesson planning is to incorporate a multimodel content through differentiated instruction that is curated to meet the diverse needs of my students.
My instructional approach revolves around evidence-based teaching methods and a culturally responsive learning environment.
I will continuously look to grow and enhance my teaching methods and content, seeking knowledge and feedback from peers as well as monitoring the progress of my students.
Goals I have for the field of education:
Help students discover themselves, their strengths, and interests
Make a meaningful connection with my students
Seek knowledge and feedback from peers as I start my teaching career
