Year 3   Learning Update

Central idea: Our lifestyle is influenced by our choices

In maths, year 3 have been getting to grips with adding and subtracting numbers up to 100 - we have been making good use of our place value equipment to help us spot patterns and changes.  

In writing, we have enjoyed exploring themes and characters in the story 'A Lion Inside'.  Our science has linked well with our inquiry and children have learned all about the skeletal system and how it works with our muscular system; I am sure you are impressed with our model arms which demonstrate how muscles are attached to bones, contracting and relaxing to allow movement. 

Our PSHE learning has provided some really in depth discussion about different family relationships and how to deal with various challenges we may face.
