Year 1     Learning Update

Central idea: Human relationships can create a sense of belonging 

This week we finished our core text, Beegu, and have now moved on to The Lonely Beast. 

We were incredibly fortunate to have the Beast visit our playground. The children were amazed to find the enormous footprints he left behind, but we knew he was a gentle giant. We had a wonderful time learning about him. The year 1 children were saddened to hear how lonely the Beast was. Inspired by our current central theme, we used clay to create some new friends for him.
