Year 5   Learning Update

Central idea: Roles and responsibilities lead to successful leadership.

We have started our first line of inquiry exploring different roles and responsibilities within jobs. The children had the opportunity to interview members of our community. They prepared interview questions related to their roles and responsibilities. 

In writing, we have explored and written our own cinquain poems. Year 5 have enjoyed the creative aspect of this writing focus. 

We have begun focusing on line graphs in maths. The children have been retrieving data and estimating trends from the line graphs. They have also had opportunity to draw their own.

The children need their PE kits in school all week.
