Inquiry -Year 6 have embarked on a fascinating journey back in time, exploring the rich history of media. They have been delving into the very beginnings of mass communication, asking critical questions about its original purpose and how it has evolved into the instant, digital world we experience today. The children have been channelling their inner historians to create a fantastic, detailed timeline. This visual project charts the pivotal moments that changed our world forever, including the revolutionary invention of the radio, the game-changing arrival of the television in our homes, and the dawn of a new age with the creation of the World Wide Web.
Science - We have been learning about the heart and how it functions. We have labelled the different parts of the heart and the order of the blood flow around the body. We will move onto how we can try and maintain a healthy heart through diet and exercise, and the effects that certain substances can have on our hearts.
