Marblehead High School is proud to have a partnership with David French Music Company. A representative from the store visit MHS every week to check on any instrument or supply issues that may come up. If students need to order extra supplies, such as reeds, mouthpieces, valve oil, or any other accessories, they may place an order through David French and it will be delivered to the school. For any instrument repairs, please use the repair request form on David French's website. They will pick up your instrument from MHS and give you a loaner to use while your instrument is being serviced.

Excellent question! Each instrument requires a different set of accessories and tools to keep it in working order. Find your instrument below to see what kind of supplies you should have either in your case or at home. There are also many additional accessories (such as instrument stands, mutes, additional mouthpieces, thumb rests etc.) that you may choose to purchase, but are not required for everyday playing in Concert Band. Most of these supplies can be found at David French in their Instrument Care Kits section. Students are expected to have all of the required supplies for their instrument. In addition, all students in Honors Band need to have a flip folder and lyre, also available from David French.
