History of Rock N' Roll

Description: 

The class is designed to give students a history of the genre of music known as Rock n’ Roll.  Students will approach the content of this course through music analysis, historical and cultural studies, and  performance. It is not required students be able to read music notation or play a musical instrument. 

Class Structure:

The course will consist of lectures, open discussions, videos, group projects, and individual projects. Homework will be occasionally assigned in this course.
