Welcome to the team! This essential 3-hour induction is a mandatory requirement for all new tutors at MAES. We will guide you through our core digital ecosystem—Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Our goal is to ensure you feel confident and fully equipped with the digital tools you need from day one. Please ensure you have completed your induction within a month from the day you started working for MAES.

Module 1 - Our IT Systems (25 mins)
Module 2 - Most Common IT Issues (25 mins)
Module 3 - Google Workspace for Education (40 mins)
Module 4 - Google Clasroom (65 mins)
Module 5 - Using AI (25 mins)
Please take a break in between modules. Remember that there is a quiz at the end of each module and you need to be signed in using your manadulted.ac.uk account to access the quizzes.
This is a mandatory training for all MAES tutors on the Safe and Effective Use of AI in Education. Each module has a very short quiz at the end and it is essential that you get a perfect score. Review the materials and retake the quiz as needed. Once you have submitted the final form at the end of Module 4, you will receive your Certificate of Completion.
The training is delivered in manageable chunks, with an estimated completion time shown for each module. Please take a break in between modules.
