Problems with Kyocera printers should be logged directly with the company that supports our networked printers - ITEC. The number for ITEC is printed on a sticker on the front of the printer together with the serial number. Please quote this when you ring ITEC, as well as giving the printer's centre and room number.
Kyocera toner is ordered automatically by the printer and delivered to the admin office. Please do not try and order toner to build up a stock as this causes problems with billing and future supply. Follow instructions on the toner cartridges to install them. Empty toner cartridges should be put into the red recycling boxes at each centre.
Periodically you will need to replace the waste toner bottles that come with each new toner. This does not need to be done every time you change a cartridge. The printer will warn if the bottle is full. The bottle is inserted into a door in the front, bottom right, of the printer. Full bottles can be thrown in the normal bin - they cannot be recycled. Make sure you close the lid of the bottle as soon as it is removed or toner dust will envelope you and the room.
Ricoh MFD photocopiers are supported by MCC. Contact the MAES admin team at each centre if there is an issue with these so they can report it.
This is the Kyocera printer. These printers are in the staff rooms of various centres. We do not manage the big Ricoh photocopiers/ printers - they are managed by MCC IT.
