We are always eager to connect with individuals interested in part-time teaching opportunities in our labs and clinical settings. Additionally, we occasionally seek part-time lecture instructors and community nursing partnership instructors.
Qualified candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or higher in nursing and possess a current nursing license in Maine or a nursing compact state.
Instructor opportunities are typically available during the fall, spring, and summer semesters, covering a variety of undergraduate courses, including labs, clinicals, and occasional lecture courses.
How to Learn More and Apply:
If you are interested in learning more about teaching opportunities, please reach out to Dr. Netty Provost and Prof. Leslie Larsen (copy us both on one email). netty.provost@maine.edu leslie.larsen@maine.edu
You can also check whether we have a current job posting on USM's hiring portal.
Even if there isn't an active listing, we encourage you to reach out. We plan future semesters in advance and welcome conversations with interested candidates who haven’t applied yet. In some cases, job listings may still be in the process of being created by HR, and we can discuss opportunities with you before the formal posting is available.
