International Joint Academia-Industry Research PBL Workshop
國立臺北科技大學近年致力於導入PBL問題導向學習之創新教學方法,引入跨國企業及產業合作,由企業主導命題,組織跨國學院、跨領域人才進行合作,推動學生進行跨域實作學習,同時提供企業創新解方。
National Taipei University of Technology has dedicated to adopting innovative teaching methods oriented to PBL (Problem-Based Learning) in recent years. The approach collaborates with multinational corporations and diverse industries, with enterprises leading the problem. We organize multinational academic institutions and multi-subject talents to collaborate, promoting students' cross sphere functional learning, all at once contributing innovative resolutions for enterprises.
獲選「財團法人高等教育國際合作基金會(FICHET)」遴選為「大專校院雙邊交流典範案例」連續二年入選 APAIE 亞洲教育者年會發表論文。
The thesis was chosen as the "Exemplary Case of Bilateral Exchange in Higher Education Institutions" by the Foundation for International Cooperation in Higher Education of Taiwan (FICHET) , and in two consecutive years was selected as public papers at the APAIE (Asia-Pacific Association for International Education) annual conferences.
睽違五年舉辦國際產業PBL工作營,持續與日本大阪工業大學、韓國國民大學展開合作,此次與全新企業合作,包括臺灣仁寶企業、方策科技、日本積水房屋、韓國HORIBA等,於2024年6月-8月期間舉辦,三校學生隨機混合分組,針對四個截然不同的產業主題進行發想合作。
After a five-year hiatus, we are holding the International Joint Academia-Industry Research PBL Workshop again. This year, we continue our collaboration with Osaka Institute of Technology in Japan and Koomin University in South Korea. The workshop will take place from June to August 2024 and involves new industry partners: Compal Electronics from Taiwan, Biotegy from Taiwan, Sekisui House from Japan, and HORIBA from South Korea. Students from the three universities will be randomly divided into groups to brainstorm and collaborate on four distinct themes.
今年11月日本芝浦工業大學師生至北科大潔淨技術研發中心竹北實驗室以及專攻微電子潔淨空氣解決方案的台灣愛美克空氣過濾器公司(AAF)參訪與交流,學習計算流體力學模擬實驗、風洞實驗及濾網量測實驗,充分結合產、學兩界的優勢,有效提升兩校師生之相關知能。
In November of this year, it led faculty and students from Shibaura Institute of Technology in Japan to visit the Clean Technology Research and Development Center at National Taipei University of Technology's Zhubei Laboratory, as well as AAF (Taiwan Amik Air Filters), a company specializing in microelectronics clean air solutions. During the visit, they learned about computational fluid dynamics simulation experiments, wind tunnel experiments, and filter measurement experiments. This collaboration effectively combined the strengths of both industry and academia, significantly enhancing the relevant knowledge and skills of the faculty and students from both universities.
日本大阪工業大學、韓國國民大學、以及本校共同舉辦「2019國際PBL產業工作營」,由北科大、韓國國民大學與日本大阪工業大學師生混合組隊,針對日本Osaka Gas、Daiwa House Corp及韓國Merck三家公司所提出的產業主題進行解決問題發想、原型設計與實務開發製作。
Osaka Institute of Technology in Japan and Kookmin University in Korea jointly hosted the '2019 International PBL Industry Workshop. Students and faculties from National Taipei University of Technology, Kookmin University, and Osaka Institute of Technology formed mixed teams to brainstorm, prototype, and practically develop solutions for industrial challenges proposed by three enterprises: Osaka Gas and Daiwa House Corporation from Japan, and Merck from Korea.
第二屆國際產業PBL工作營與日本大阪工業大學、韓國國民大學於2018年7月-9月中旬合作舉辦,本校學生先行分別前往日本與韓國進行實地踏查與問題了解溝通,最後移地回臺進行原型機之組裝,共為期2個月。
The second International Industrial PBL Workshop was held between National Taipei University of Technology, Osaka Institute of Technology in Japan, and Kookmin University in Korea from July to mid-September 2018. Students from our university visited Japan and Korea separately for on-site investigations and discussed to understand the problems. Finally, they returned to Taiwan to assemble the prototypes, duration of two months in total.
首屆北科大、日本大阪工業大學的國際產研PBL工作營活動,與日本農機產業之領導企業洋馬(Yanmar)公司合作,利用暑假期間3個月設計製作,研發完成能自動跟隨農夫行走的搬運機器人。有效促進臺灣學生與日本學生之跨國互訪交流,共同組成團隊完成專案,協助學生提早體驗職場環境、培養解決問題的能力,並提升國際經驗與拓展國際視野。
National Taipei University of Technology collaborated for the first time with Osaka Institute of Technology and Japanese agricultural machinery enterprise Yanmar this summer, spending three months designing and developing a capable of autonomously following farmers transporter robot. This collaboration enabled Taiwanese students to visit Japan and work alongside Japanese students, composing teams to complete the project. The project aimed to provide students with internship experiences, disciplining problem-solving abilities, and enhance their international exposure.
