The Halloween dance took place in the gym on Friday, October 23, 2026. The hallway was dark and lit up with purple and red light, setting the mood perfectly. There was a table in the hallway filled with delicious candies, cookies, and copious amounts of drinks!
When students entered the gym, they were greeted with the sounds of blasting music and the chatter of friend groups. The underclassmen seemed to enjoy the music, while others did not. Two freshmen, Nazir Coles and Elson Pentson both had differing opinions but ultimately enjoyed the Halloween school dance. Nazir had lots of opinions: "Oh some glow in the dark, oh let's listen to Sexy Red”. Elson Pentson liked the decorations, but thought there should’ve been more decorations in the middle of the gym; otherwise, he really enjoyed the music.
The seniors on the other hand, Kunj Patel, Georgia-Claire, and Nelson Showalter helped decorate the gym for the Halloween party. Georgia-Claire said, “It came out better than I thought it would. I thought it was gonna be awful, until we got some party streamers from Mrs. Kinnet”. Meanwhile Nelson and Kunj were struggling to put on their two-person horse riding cowboy costume.
Overall, the Halloween dance was a success, and students are already looking forward to the next one.
