HLTH 82 is a 3.0-unit in-person course. This course addresses professional skills required in the workplace and is an integral part of the Healthcare Interpreting Certificate program. Students focus on a seamless integration of interpreting skills, knowledge of special populations, systems, legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards, and the role of advocacy.
This is a hybrid course that includes both in-person and remote sessions. In-person sessions are held at the Ocean Campus, Harry Britt Building (HBB). Remote sessions are held via Zoom videoconferencing.
