HLTH 91K is a 1.0-Unit online course designed for anyone interested in learning more about the role of a healthcare interpreter. Have you ever encountered language and/or cultural barriers when communicating with a client, patient, or co-worker? Maybe even a family member? If so, you may find this course useful.
Language and cultural barriers can impede the health of individuals and can be costly for health systems. This course provides language access strategies and effective collaboration with interpreters across language and cultural barriers in healthcare settings.
This is a fully online course with asynchronous learning. The course spans over 4 weeks.
