(Producer | 8 person team | 2025)Â
Stillwater Swamp is a 3D survival horror game where players take the role of a fisherman trying to upgrade their fishing license. However, the swamp is not silent; a beast stalks the player and can only be fended off with a sharp ear and harpoon gun.
This was my second time being a producer for a full game project. On this team I focused on QA, audio, bug fixing, as well as managing tasks and timelines of the whole project.
This was a project I'd prototyped prior, so I had a good understanding of the code base and what needed to be done to get this game over the finish line. I worked on fixing bugs with the beast's pathfinding, the fishing system, and set up the animations for the harpoon gun. Furthermore I did all the audio implementation and system coding in the game, creating audio for the game and the system to adjust its playback levels. Beyond the technical stuff, I headed the team as the producer, running meetings, presenting the pitch, vertical slice, alpha, beta, and gold milestones. I also managed the task lists of the team and roadmap of the overall project.
