I first developed an interest in game development when I participated in an advanced solo game development course at Glenbrook South High School. After winning a Business Technology award my senior year for my successful solo creation of a 2D character action game, I attended Bradley University to expand my skill set.
After arriving at Bradley, I received recognition from professors for my proficiency and work ethic. This led to the creation of many high-quality projects, invitations to take on leadership roles in production work, and opportunities to represent Bradley’s Interactive Media department.
This culminated in the spring semester of 2026, when I was granted the opportunity to become the student producer for Fuse, a large student-run tech expo held at the Peoria Riverfront Museum. I ensured the event ran smoothly by organizing the team and coordinating exhibits, helping create a future-forward experience for the Peoria area and beyond.
From visiting high school students to discuss the college-level game design experience to showcasing my work for Bradley at city festivals, I became highly involved with both the department and the university as a whole.
During the summers, I worked on contract indie development projects and created indie games that were released on Steam.
Through these experiences, I discovered a strong passion for leadership and production. Leading teams to create high-quality work was a path I didn’t initially expect, but one I found myself drawn to and skilled in. I continue my work with Bradley as both a student and a leader within the department.
