Evidence of Injury:
U-shaped laceration (15 mm) on right tibia. Incision on tongue. Fibers and skin cells removed from underside of victim's fingernails. Will be sent to State Crime Lab for further analysis. Contusion on posterior occipital bone. Two small contusions on right and left clavicle showing slight hematoma of tissue. Shapes appear to be oval, possibly caused by pollex.
Toxicologic Studies:
Presence of unknown chemical compound in stomach requiring further analysis. Upon admission, gastric contents were disgorged, collected, and sent to the State Crime Lab for analysis. Laboratory analysis of the gastric contents shows 8-10 grams of chicken and bread or breading. Alcoholic fluids were cojoined with the food substances. Items consumed approximately 5-9 hours before death.
External Examination
The body is that of young, fit 27 year old white female measuring about 5'6" in length and weighing about 132 pounds. Rigor mortis is present and equal in all joints. The hair is light blond in color, the eyes are green. The nose and ears are unremarkable. The teeth are natural with the exception of a crown implant. The chest is symmetrical, the abdomen is unremarkable. The upper and lower extremities show no other deformities. There is a slight laceration on subject's right tibia. Clothing is blue cotton pajamas. The right pant leg displays torn fibers and had some blood residue that seeped from the laceration on her tibia. White clothing fibers were found along the underside of the tongue and gums. A small puncture was found along the side of the tongue, apparently caused by the subject biting her own tongue. The contusion along posterior fontanelle distinctive of contact with blunt force trauma.
Internal Examination
Lungs: water was found throughout lung tissue and a sample was collected for further analysis.
Summary
Upon admission, local law enforcement officers informed emergency room personnel that a criminal investigation involving the victim was possible. In accordance with evidence gathering procedures, hospital staff took routine samples from underneath the victim's fingernails at that time and submitted the samples to the State Crime Lab. Fibers from below the fingernails were obtained and will be made available for future comparison.
