Rushell Herrera
Rushell has been a part of the varsity Overwatch team since the start of Fall 2021. She plays primarily in a Damage role and has put in the hours to keep up her competitive rank. To improve, she researches strategies and works on implementing them into her game. Her advice for aspiring players is, "Send it! Do what scares you. Try new things, whether that is esports or life—just try."
Emily Welch
"I just started playing Esports competitively and practice daily to try to improve. My goal this semester is to improve and be a great team player. I really appreciate teammates who understand that not everyone has the experience that they do and work to help everyone be the best they can be in a team setting. If a high school student is interested in esports I would tell them that it isn’t all about the game; it's also about working as a team, and if they are interested [in esports] they should go for it!" - Emily Welch
