What brought you to MACU?
In all honesty, the esports group is what really brought me to MACU.
What has been one of your most memorable experiences on the varsity Overwatch team?
One of the most memorable experiences with the esports group had to be the day we had a pizza party to get to know each other and to be able to see the smiles on everyone's faces.
What drives you to get better?
What drives me to be better is to be able to go pro into esports, and if that doesn't happen, is to learn more about my majors to be able to provide for my family.
What is something you have enjoyed about being in MACU Esports?
What I have enjoyed at MACU esports is, first off, the smiles, but most importantly, the teamwork from people from all walks of life.
Kairon Dunn
What brought you to MACU?
I appreciate the small size of MACU’s campus, which gives me the ability to connect with my professors and advisors on a personal level, with hopes that they will remember me in the future.
What has been one of your most memorable experiences on the varsity Overwatch team?
Personally, I would have to say that my most memorable moment on the Overwatch Team has been when I won two of our in-house Role Tournaments.
What drives you to get better?
The chemicals released in my head whenever I win drive me to continue winning.
What is something you have enjoyed about being in MACU Esports?
I appreciate the community we have among the esports players!
Tristin Barton
What has been one of your most memorable experiences on the Super Smash Bros. varsity team?
My most memorable experience so far was making the National playoffs for Super Smash Bros. As a first-year player picking up the game, I feel I contributed a lot to the team and enjoyed learning all that I did.
What drives you to get better?
Defeat has driven me to become a better player. The more I lose, the more I feel I should practice, because once you’re at the top, what is the point of practice?
Anything else you'd like to add?
I’ve enjoyed my first year on the Esports team, and I’m ready for the next one!
