Guide for Electronic Contents

通常ご利用いただける電子コンテンツ（電子ジャーナル・電子ブック・データベース）に加えて、各出版社等が期間限定でオープンアクセス（無料）を実施しているものがあります。是非、ご利用ください。
In addition to the normal UTokyo electronic contents (e-journal, e-book, database, etc.), some publishers provide open access to their collections free of charge for a limited period of time.

リモートアクセスサービスを利用する
Get a full text via remote access service

  • 東京大学で契約している多くの電子ジャーナルについては、多くの論文のフルテキストを入手することができます。
    Many of the full text articles are accessible which are contained in the e-journals and databases contracted by the University of Tokyo.

  • 学外からフルテキストにアクセスしたい場合には、「リモートアクセスサービス」を利用します。
    You can get access to these full text articles from off-campus network through "remote access service".

認証不要の論文を利用する
Get a full text without authentication

  • 一方で、最近では、オープンアクセス化されている論文もあります。
    On the other hand, notice that some articles and e-journals are opened in public these days.

  • オープンアクセス論文は、無料で読めるだけでなく、リモートアクセスサービスを介さずにフルテキストにアクセスできます。
    Open access articles are not only available free of charge, but also accessible without getting through the remote access service.

  • 読みたい論文がオープンアクセスになっているかどうかを調べるには、ご利用のウェブブラウザ（Google Chrome、Firefox等）に、UnpaywallやEndNote Clickの拡張機能をインストールすると大変便利です。この機会にぜひUnpaywallやEndNote Clickの利用を検討してください。
    To find out whether the article you want is open access or not, it is very useful to install the plugin of Unpaywall or EndNote Click to your web browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.). We recommend you try these useful plugins.

リモートアクセスサービスについて
How to use remote access service

東京大学で契約している電子コンテンツ（電子ジャーナル・電子ブック・データベース等）の多くは、リモートアクセスサービスを利用することによって、自宅などの学外から利用することができます。
Many of the electronic contents (e-journals, e-books, databases, etc.) subscribed to by the University of Tokyo can be used from outside the university, such as at home, by using the remote access service.

  • リモートアクセスサービスには同時アクセス数の上限があり、非常に逼迫しているため、接続できない場合があります。
    You may     not be able to access to the remote access services for they have very tight upper limit on the number to access at the same time.

  • 一部については、リモートアクセスサービスを介さずに利用できるものもあります。「認証不要で利用できる電子コンテンツ」をご参照ください。
    You could find many articles that are available without authentication of remote access services. See “Electronic contents available without authentication” below.

学生・教職員それぞれのゲートウェイサービスにUTokyo Accountでログインすることで、学外から電子コンテンツにアクセスできます。
You can access electronic contents from off-campus by logging in with your UTokyo Account.

職員の方で初めて認証GWを利用される場合には、認証GWのウェブサイトをご確認ください。

リモートアクセスサービスで利用できる電子コンテンツ
E-contents available by using remote access service

  • 学外からアクセス Access from Off-campus

  • 医中誌Webにアクセス後、画面中央に表示される「ログイン」ボタンを押して利用してください。
    Access the web page and click on login (“ログイン”) button in the middle.

  • 学外からアクセス Access from Off-campus

  • 検索のみを行う場合には、PubMed東大専用入り口のリンクからご利用ください。検索後にフルテキストまでのアクセスが必要な場合には、学外からアクセスのリンクから利用してください。
    If you need only to search for the articles, go to PubMed for UTokyo URL. If you need further to access the full text after searching for the article, click on “Access from Off-campus”.

  • 学外からアクセス Access from Off-campus

  • アクセス後、利用したいデータベースにチェックをつけて、続行ボタンをおしてください。
    After clicking on the URL, check the databases you want to use and “Continue”.

  • 書籍の画像をクリックすると、学内からのアクセス先と学外からのアクセス先が表示されます。
    Access link will be displayed both from inside(“学内から”) and outside(“学外から”) the campus when you click on the image of books.

ScienceDirect (Elsevier)

  • 学外からアクセス Access from Off-campus

  • ScienceDirectのすべての教科書が2020年6月15日 8月31日まで無料。All text books in ScienceDirect are freely accessible until June 15 August 31.

  • 対象のリスト The book title lists: 　https://www.elsevier.com/solutions/sciencedirect/content/book-title-lists

    • アクセス手順 How to access：

      • 1. タイトルリストをダウンロードして閲覧したい資料を確認する。Download the book title lists and confirm which title you need.

      • 2. データベース・電子ジャーナル一覧でISBNまたはタイトルで検索する。Access to List of Databases and E-journals and search by ISBN or the title.

      • 3. 上記２で検索できなかった場合は、ScienceDirect上でタイトルやISBNで検索する。If cannot find it by the method mentioned above (2), search on ScienceDirect by ISBN or the title.

認証不要でアクセスできる電子コンテンツ
E-contents available without authentication

  • 学外からアクセスする場合には、事前に学内ネットワークからアクセスし、個人アカウントを作成する必要があります。To get access from off-campus, you will need first to access from network in the university and make your personal account.

  • アカウント登録をしたうえで本郷キャンパス内のネットワークから一度アクセスすれば90日間は学外からアクセスが可能になります。
    Off-campus access will be available for 90 days if you get an account and once access to the UpToDate from the network inside the Hongo campus.

  • 上記の条件（アカウント登録および学内ネットワークからのアクセス）を満たすことが困難な場合は、医学図書館にご相談ください。
    Please consult the Medical Library if you are unable to fulfill the above-mentioned conditions.

  • 2021年1月11日 ⇒6月7日までリモートアクセスサービスを介さずに利用できます。
    SciFinder and SciFinder-n are accessible without authentication of remote access service until January 11 June 7, 2021.

  • ログインの際には、Usernameとパスワードが必要になりますが、新規ユーザー登録については、これまでと同様に学内ネットワークから登録する必要があります。
    Username and password will be required to login, but to register for the new user, you will need to access from campus network as before.

  • COVID-19関連コンテンツについて無料で全文アクセス可能。
    The COVID-19 related collection of articles is available free online.
