Hi! My name is Ms. Burgher and I teach transitional kindergarten. This is my 28th year teaching here at Bay Laurel. I have taught TK, Kindergarten, 3rd and 4th grade. I began with student teaching here in Bay Laurel many years ago and went on to receive a Multiple Subject teaching credential and M.A. in Education from Northern Arizona University. When I'm not knee deep in play-doh or searching for lost googly eyes, you can find me BBQing, watching movies and playing at the dog park!

Hi! My name is Mrs. Amico and I am a Kindergarten and transitional kindergarten teacher here at Bay Laurel. I began teaching in Canoga Park in 2005 and came to Bay Laurel in 2012. I have taught 1st grade, kindergarten and transitional kindergarten classes. I have a multiple subject credential and a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction. When I'm not singing the ABC song off key, you can find me chasing my crazy kiddos around the park and watching Doc Mc Stuffins for the 1 millionth time!

Hi! My name is Ms. Donahue and I am a kindergarten teacher! I have been teaching for 30 years! I have a M.A. in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University. I have taught everything except 4th and 5th. When I'm not sorting crayons by shade of blue you can find me dancing and flipping away with my daughter at dance and gymnastics!

Hi! My name is Mary Bloom, and I started teaching at Bay Laurel in 1998! In those 28 years, I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. This will be my first year teaching Kindergarten. I have a B.A. in Liberal Studies and a multiple subject credential from CSUN. I am a native Californian from a large family. I am married with 2 daughters. When I am not having fun teaching, I enjoy reading, hiking, and spending time with my dogs, family, and friends.

Hi! My name is Miss Fey, and I teach Kindergarten at Bay Laurel. I am so excited for this school year! This is my 4th year teaching Kindergarten at Bay Laurel. I am proud to be a former LVUSD student. I attended LVUSD schools from Kindergarten through 12th grade. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Boise State University, along with my K–8 Teaching Credential and Literacy Endorsement. I have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. When I am not surrounded by little people, you can find me with my family, at a yoga class, at the beach, or snowboarding in Mammoth.

Hi! My name is Mrs. Cazares (formerly Ms. Nichols) and I teach Transitional Kindergarten! I've been teaching in LVUSD for 6 years, and this will be my 3rd year teaching TK. I have worked with students in all grades TK-12, and have found the most joy in teaching our youngest learners. I was born and raised in Camarillo, CA and received my Bachelor's Degree in Communication from CSU Channel Islands as well as my Multiple Subject teaching credential, and just recently completed the Early Childhood Education certificate program. When I'm not giggling and being goofy with the little ones, you can find me taking my dog on walks (more like him taking me on walks!), trying out new recipes in the kitchen, or snuggled up on the couch with snacks watching a movie!
