Summary: For my Instructional Technology class, we were required to make a screencast showing viewers how to go onto and use Flipgrid. I made sure to use basic instructional design principles, including a clear, practiced voice, an uncluttered screen, and explicit directions.

Summary: I researched the Quality Matters framework. This is a great tool to be able to learn, implement, and evaluate the basic principles of instructional design. Though this is mainly directed toward online coursework, principles of design and development of technology materials can go beyond. They can be translated to presentations and instructional videos.

Summary: When the COVID-19 hit, Ligonier Valley School Distict went to online learning. In order to do so, a technology integrator committee was formed. We got together through Zoom and collaborated on how to get the project up and running for the district. Two of us were in charge of each building and we were given tasks to do. It took a lot of problem solving, but it is currently seeming very successful!

Summary: For my Instructional Technology class at Saint Vincent College, we were introduced to HyperStudio 5. Here, we were to create a lesson with embedded learning checks. I did a lesson on creating a healthy plate. There were lots of activities, places that included facts and information, and links to resources outside of the program. At the end, there was an assessment.

Summary: I designed a course for one of the instructors at Saint Vincent College. Schoology is the course platform. I designed this course so it could provide valuable information for those taking the class. There are also links to assignments, pertinent videos, and other resources that provide success to the learner taking the class.
