Chess Club will promote the rules, playing, and strategies of chess for enjoyment and competition of the game. All levels of chess players, beginners to masters, are encouraged to attend. Meetings consist of chess games and strategy discussions with other students and a community chess master. The community chess master attends every meeting and helps all chess players improve their game. The club attends one chess tournament in the region once a month. Tournament participation is voluntary and tournament fees for each member are supplied by the club.
