The Marching Band marches during halftime at home football games, the Homecoming and Veterans Day parades, and at contests/music festivals.
Color Guard is a non-musical section that provides additional visual aspects to the band performance. They interpret the music that the marching band is playing via synchronized spinning flags through choreographed movements. The Color Guard uses different colors and styles of flags to enhance the visual effect of the marching band as a whole.
In Jazz Band, students learn about the different aspects of playing jazz music, including music improvisation and music theory.
The Symphonic Band performs during concert season (AKA 2nd semester). This band performs at concerts, contests, and at graduation (with the exception of graduating seniors). They also do pep band at home basketball games.
