This course is the year-long Varsity-level choir offered at Leavenworth High School. This class performs traditional choral literature. Studies in musical styles of the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary Periods are included. Some foreign language diction is studied including Latin, Italian, French, and German. This course seeks to develop the most refined possible musical skills in the individual at the high school level. The majority of the repertoire in this course will be unaccompanied.

The A Capella Choir performs in a minimum of two concerts each semester. Attendance is required at performances and competitions. Students must maintain passing grades to travel and compete.  Students may take this course more than once and will be encouraged to participate in the other choirs offered at Leavenworth High School. An audition is required for admission.

This course is the year-long Show Choir offered at Leavenworth High School. This class performs high-energy and highly choreographed music, mainly focusing on the musical genres of pop and musical theatre. Choreography is created and taught by student leaders of the class, while the vocal music is chosen and taught by the director. Individual confidence, expression, and ambition is encouraged in this course and needed for student success. 

The Power and Life Choir performs in a minimum of two concerts each semester. Attendance is required at performances and competitions.  Students must maintain passing grades to travel and compete. Students may take this course more than once and will be encouraged to participate in the other choirs offered at Leavenworth High School. An audition is required for admission.
