This category really falls under game design and software development and all jobs related in the field. These are really business structures with software engineers as the workers of the products (games).
These can range into several categories. So starting with the basics.
Management - generally we will have a tear of managers from the top down. Basic business managerial schemes apply at this level.
Designers - we have many types of designers that fit into this category. Anything from 2D - 3D graphic designers to web and graphic designers.
Storyboard writer - these are our story tellers who create the vision for the game schematic.
Content producers - these can fit into storyboarder or even designers but often times they produce front end content for end users.
Web designers - produce layouts and functionality to websites
Application designers - create the layout and front end operations of an application for multiple devices
Front end designer - this position develops end user usabilities, they help to facilitate the quality and ease of a users experience
back end engineer - frequently will be plugging databases to front end implementation, this is a loaded word for pretty much does it all and otherwise known as a software engineer
network engineer- will play in the worlds of cyber security and keeps the engines running free of viruses. These folks know all things computer hardware to software version control
network security engineer -similar to a network engineer but tend to have a more detailed focus on the privileges of program or institution
This list is pretty generalized and in the world if information technology most engineers will have more than one trade in the industry.
