Here is the 3/4 math update for today:

Skip count by 4's

We practiced representing numbers on our whiteboards similar to the pictures we used in brainingcamp yesterday.

We also wrote the number words out for numbers 1-10 and will have a check up on that on Tuesday.

Spell independently the number words for each of the following numbers:

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, 10

Skip count by 5's to 100 orally

Grade 3's used brainingcamp to help them draw numbers in two ways - looking for the decomposition of tens or hundreds which keeps the value the same but changes the way their drawing looks. Similar to the idea of money a $5 bill looks very different from 5 loonies but is worth the same amount.
