We followed along to this video to help leads us through sketching.

We focused on shading techniques and how to adjust darkness and lightness in our sketch.

Diwali started on November 14th!

We watched a couple videos to learn what Diwali is and then worked on showing fireworks using chalk and black paper.

Try challenging yourself to show the fireworks reflected in water below!

After experimenting with different subtances at your home on a blank paper (we used out Art Journals), try practicing this techniques in your own creative art!

1. Join the Google Meet for Instructions.

2. Watch this video on Timbre.

3. Check out the Virtual Oscilloscope here.

4. Make sure to allow microphone and practice saying your name and freezing the image.

5. When you are happy with the sound wave, either print and trace or try copying the image into your sketchbook or blank paper (Hint: Try using a ruler!)

6. Decorate the background to make it represent YOU!

   • What do you notice about his artwork?

2. Using the Cube Template (in folder or below) and PENCIL CRAYONS.

   • Colour the top box RED (as we are creating a mural as a class).

   • On the LEFT somewhere, incorporate the Stavely School Star.

   • Otherwise, be bold, be abstract, create designs that are meaningful to you! Maybe the colour or shapes or patterns tell a story!
