Welcome to William's Middle School STEAM!!
What is STEAM??? STEAM is an interdisciplinary approach to learning where academics are connected with real world scenarios. We will apply science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics that make connections between school, community, and the larger world. In each trimester we will develop our critical and creative thinking, collaboration skills, perseverance, resilience (we will have to learn from many mistakes) and have some fun. Our work will be driven by the Massachusetts 6-8 engineering and technology standards. I am really looking forward to working alongside and learning with all of you as we tackle different problems and challenges. -Mr. McCarthy
