Was their life on Mars? NASA has successfully landed a rover (the Perseverance)  to Mars. Scientists have discovered what appears to be 5  ancient riverbeds. NASA needs to collect samples of those locations that can be shipped back to Earth to determine if there are any prehistoric water based fossils or chemical indicators that would infer that life existed.  

Teams of 2 will need to create and program automated prototype "rovers" using our lego prime kits to navigate and stop at 4 different locations on a simulated martian table. Bonus if students can collect samples from those locations.
