Music

• Generally we have live music, although there are occasions (due to COVID restrictions or lack of willing/able musos that we will use pre-recorded video music)

• For Live Music - the Band Leader  will pull the band together, look after rehearsals, choose songs, and update the Elvanto plan.

• For Live Music (members and song choice should appear in your Elvanto Plan)
  
  
  

• If there is no Band - the Gathering Leader is responsible for choosing the song video (see below) and updating the Elvanto plan.

• When there is no Band - choose a) not to use music at all or b) to use pre-recorded Music videos with words from this list (as we have copyright permission to use music videos from these organisations)

  • To use any of these resources, add the song title as a line item in your running plan (with time) - and change the colour to orange and the visual team will source and insert the video into ProPresenter/Powerpoint for the Sunday Gathering.

Copyright

• A word about Copyright. LMAP are obliged to record all music and lyrics that we use under license. We need copyright permissions for: sheet music we use (hard copy or electronic); lyrics (printed or displayed); videos or live renditions (on live-stream). Copyright lodgement is ably done on our behalf by Liz Thornton (Liz.thornton14@gmail.com). If you have indicated in the Elvanto plan that you are using a song or video - she will pick that up each week and lodge as appropriate.
  
  If you are not using Elvanto, you will need to let Liz know each time you use a song (and Liz is willing to source songs for you). If in doubt, ask (Liz's Mob: 0411 240 744). There is a song and sheet music library here. Thanks for helping us work compliantly together.
