The Lord's Prayer can be a useful addition to general prayers, as it enables all those present to participate more directly in prayer.
If you want to include the Lord's prayer, please add this information (in orange) to the Gathering Plan before the deadline:
Please show the Lord's Prayer at the start/end of the prayer time
(remove "start" or "end" as appropriate for your gathering)
When used, the following form is recommended:
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins as we forgive those
that sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power, and the glory
are yours now and for ever.
Amen.
