Once you have decided what resources you want to include in your gathering plan, it may be that some of them will require a slide to be created for the congregation to view. To do this, you will need to add information into the Elvanto gathering plan so that the tech team will know how to set up the slides. And the easiest way to transfer the information into Elvanto is to simply "copy" and "paste".
Highlight the text you want from whatever resources you are using, and press Ctrl-C to copy the text
Go to the item in Elvanto where you want a slide to be created. For example, if you are adding something to the Family Prayer and Praise that will have a congregational response (and therefore need a slide), go to the Elvanto plan, and click on the "Family Prayer and Praise" item to open it.
Click in the "Description" field, and press Ctrl-V to paste the text you copied.
Add some text to let the tech team know what you want: "Please add the following prayer as a slide after the kids song."
You can also colour the text orange to ensure the tech team see request.
If there are special instructions required for the slides, be sure to include them. For example, if some of the words need to be in bold to indicate to the congregation that those are the words they are to say, make sure to include something like "Please note that some of the text is in bold which should be reflected on the slides".
The rule of thumb is, give the tech team enough information to enable them to set up the slides how you would like them.
