Ministry Matters

Ministry Matters (Announcements) are vision setting moments. Be concerned about the 'Why' (this is the kind of church we are) not the 'What' or 'When' (our members can read that for themselves).

Please use this element to share 'matters' which those present may need to consider.

The aim here is to give instructions or highlight upcoming ministry or events that should 'matter' to those present.

Please include:

1. Welcome to newcomers - This should include reference to the 'Welcome Brochure' (that includes information about our church), the 'Welcome' card (which has a place to write details and requests) and 'Welcome Afternoon Tea' postcard,  with a request to fill in and deposit in the boxes at the doors. 

Other suggestions could include an invitation to Morning Tea, to join the Facebook Group, or follow us on Instagram, or on Youtube.

2. Upcoming Events - This should never be more than three events at most and should only be events which concern more than 50% of those present. The office will insert notes concerning these events.

3. Giving in Ministry - Please let folk know that if they would like to serve or give in ministry, then the 'Welcome Card' is a good place to indicate interest and the details for electronic giving are found in the gathering handout.
