Coordinated Entry System
Individuals and families seeking shelter or living outside or in places not meant for people to live in can apply for housing through the Coordinated Entry system, which is designed to streamline access to housing, and supportive services.
You can get connected to the Coordinated Entry System by access any of the shelters above or through the CTEH Outreach Joliet Public Library. Assessment teams are at the library located at 150 N. Ottawa Street in Joliet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays from 9am to 11am.
Community Action Agency
Community Action Agencies may assist with rental/mortgage, food, employment training/placement, financial management, energy assistance (LIHEAP), and temporary shelter.
