The approximate cost for the course is $150. Optional experiences during the year may become available. The cost for these will be advised at the time.

This course is a blend of practical projects and real-world challenges. You will work in a team to build and program robots that can complete a variety of tasks. Along the way, you'll develop skills that are in high demand in today's world.
Robotics Fundamentals: Learn the basics of how robots are built and how they move. You'll get to know the VEX robotics kits and explore the core principles of mechanical design and electrical systems.
Applied Engineering Challenges: Put your knowledge to the test by tackling a series of fun and practical challenges. You'll learn the engineering design process, from brainstorming ideas and building prototypes to testing and refining your solutions.
Computational Thinking: Learn how to think like a programmer! You'll use VEXCode to write code that makes your robot autonomous, using sensors to make intelligent decisions.
The VEX Robotics Challenge: The ultimate test. You'll join your team to strategise, build, and program a competition-ready robot to compete against other schools in the annual VEX Robotics Challenge. This is where you'll apply everything you've learned in a fun and competitive environment.
