10th Grade Passage
Introduction
Introduction
Tenth grade passage is an opportunity for our sophomores to reflect on and share artifacts showcasing their learning and growth since the beginning of their high school experience. At the end of the year, students present academic work from 9th and 10th grades, share their 10-year plans as they begin to think about their future plans, and answer questions rooted in their identity, interests, and goals.

Community Involvement
Community Involvement
There are many ways to involve the community in this process. Below are a few suggestions:
- Invite people to provide feedback about students' work throughout the process - the earlier, the better
- Ask 12th graders to share their own responses to interview questions as a model and as a way for 10th graders to learn more about the college and scholarship application process
- In preparation for the final presentation, have 10th graders deliver their final presentations to 9th graders, so that freshmen can get a preview of the passage process
