"Speed, precision and efficiency"
Day 1
In the morning, after meeting in room 16, we followed Professor Osler's instructions, who informed us that the next day we would have to carry out interviews with students from the Veronesi institute, as they were more involved in the world of work; for this reason she (the professor) explained various things to us regarding how to interview and after the explanation she gave us the tasks that we would have to complete by the end of the day, the tasks were as follows
- Do the bullet list.
- Do a short research on safety at work.
- Make a list of questions for the interviews the next day.
- Test the questions on anyone available from our school, preferably 2nd graders.
in the same day we also finisched the logo and the animation of it that we then introduced in the videos
Initially we divided up the tasks,
- Michele Folchi had to do the interview questions
- Martina Bressani & Lorenz Christian were to do the bullet list, and the theme
- Toccoli Alex did the logo and photos for the group
- Mario Riccardi did all the website graphics
Before lunchtime all tasks were completed except for some graphics.
In the afternoon Michele & Christian had to do the interview, together with Martina. After finishing Alex & Mario continued with the graphics while Michele, Christian & Martina finished the video of the interview with Professor Prosser.
Day 2
Today we met at the headquarters, in the lecture hall where we would later do the interviews,
Before we started the 'interrogation' the professors gave us some initial tips and time to organise ourselves for setting up the filming locations.
Then around 9:30, Mario & Alex went with other people from other groups to get some people to interview, while Christian and Martina prepared the 'studio'. Shortly afterwards they returned with the first interviewee, who proved to be very talkative and with whom Michele Folchi (the interviewer) had a fairly wide-ranging talk.
Once the interview was over, Mario & Alex took the boy back to his class and picked up another one who, however, turned out to be less talkative and less predisposed to communication, pretty much the same for the others who were interviewed, who for various reasons did not contribute profitably with the interview. In conclusion, after finishing the interviews and tidying up the classroom, we went to lunch.
Morning roles
Alex: photos & fetch interviewees
Mario: site & fetch interviewees
Christian: filming & notes
Michele: interviews
Martina: notes, location administration
After eating and getting back to work, we assigned ourselves roles:
Michele Folchi: had the task of making the cards, which however due to a mix-up were done by Christian Lorenz & Martina
Michele Folchi: perfecting the Daily Report
Mario : video and site conclusion
Alex :took the photos
Day 3
In the morning together with professor marchi we started reading to the class what we put in the presentation (credential of the target) so as to combine more information that we would need later for a subsequent work (with the information of the class we made slide 4 which illustrates a general view of the students)
With this information we started making the empathy map which is nothing more than a map that helps us understand what our target wants.
then the professor started talking to us about the POV and what we were going to do but no one produced much because everyone started studying for the test in the following hours.
We had lunch.
Back from lunch we had 2 hours of tests and then, as a rest activity after the test, the teacher invited some second and third graders to whom we illustrated the project a bit and they told us things about their exams .
Then towards the end of the day have to do the POV which is nothing more than an acronym for point of view or another to ask ourselves questions about a hypothetical buyer and find out how to solve his problem.
This job was the last of the day.
Day 4
In the morning we took care of the organisation, today Martina (team leader) did not come because she felt ill.
Assigned tasks:
Mario/Christian organised the POV presentation
Michele: re-did yesterday's daily report then started with today's
Alex: D photo documentation.
After these tasks were finished, we all started thinking together about ideas for the project. As a result, Mario set up the NOW-HOW table while Michele Christian & Alex made the idea official.
In conclusion we all started to think about the idea for the morning of the following day, once the ideas had been clarified we presented them to the class.
Michele & Alex: took notes on each other's work.
Mario & Christian: presented the idea and answered questions.
At the end we couldn't do anything else because some seventh graders came to see the school and we showed them our projects.
Day 5
We started Friday by both planning the day and dividing up the tasks.
However, before everyone started working independently, we did a lot of work on the idea, the tasks were divided up like this:
Christian, Marina & Mario: got on with putting the idea in writing and finding new information
Michele & Alex: did the daily report, photos & other small jobs
In the final part of the day not much was done because more than half of the group went to see the celebrations of the projects of the other classes
Day 6
this morning our group debated the work to be presented and how to generate the idea.
This is how we split up:
Mario & Michele: start and experimentation on how to make the app
Christian, Alex & Martina: creation of the idea and research on how to make it, after a tip given to them by a friend they found a good system to create the project, so they started to search the web for objects and chips needed to create the project, after finding them they sent an email to the teachers to get them.
After eating, back at school, we set about creating the application, so we divided up the tasks:
Christian: made a prototype of the project with tinkercad
Martina: did the basics, the background of the app
Mario helped by Michele (not the whole time, then he did the daily report): they integrated the various buttons into the app's facades made by Martina
Alex: photographs and various aids
Day 7
today we organised ourselves in this way:
Mario: does the application
Michele: makes presentation and starts the daily report
Christian & Martina: program the arduino for the project
Alex: absent
lunch
In the afternoon, the tasks of the individuals did not change much, in fact they remained the same until towards the end some members of the group took a break
Day 8
Today the group members' tasks are similar to yesterday's,
Christian worked on finishing the programming of the arduino
Mario finished the application & started to make a video to present the presentation while Alex helped him
Alex as well as helping Mario took photos
Martina decided to redo the presentation on canva & started making it
Michele did the presentation on google sheets before he re-did it & then tried his hand at doing the first part of the daily report & the canva presentation
lunch
after lunch martina couldn't work because she had make-up tests to do so the rest of us in the group organised ourselves like this
Christian: finished programming the arduino
Mario: finished the video on the app and improved it a bit
Michele: presentation on canva and then at the end of the day got a little help from martina
Alex: help asked & prototype glove
Day 9
in the final day we have concluded our presentation, we have concluded
we divided up the parts, practised, tested with the Prosser profssor and perfected our prototype and presentation
