1st Grade Music is an exploration of the wonderful world of music learning. We talk about musical comparatives such as Fast/Slow, Loud/Quiet, and beat vs. rhythm (words), and we begin to learn some solfege notes and rhythm syllables, such as Ta and Ti-Ti (quarter notes and paired eighth notes). Students sing songs, move to the music, play instruments, read some rhythms, listen to classical music, and have fun!
